Haifa Chemicals is a company in Israel manufacturing chemicals and fertilizers. In the process of production of the fertilizers, they have a lot of Carbon Dioxide (Co2) gas. In Ramat Hanegev R & D, there is an experiment which tries to use the waste Co2 from Haifa Chemicals to increase crop yields of tomatoes. Using Co2 is not an innovative idea. But the amount of Co2 in the atmosphere in the whole world is increasing and the results can predict for us the information about how the increase in Co2 affects agricultural crops.
