Dear Friends,
Binyamina is a small Moshva (settlement) about 20 Km South from the Carmel Mountain.
The Moshva is celebrating 100 years (jubilee) to its establishment.
The attached movie describes ICAs and Rothchild foundation collaborating in Binyamina’s early days.
It is nice to mention that the first dairy in Eretz Israel was established by ICA and it is still standing.
One of the group of pioneers that ICA supported in Binyamina was the California group- the pioneers imported (from California) 12 Dutch milking cows- today Israeli cows are the most productive according to milk production per day data (in Israel approx. 32 liter per day).
This information and facts are definitely something to be proud of.
Yours,
Ze’ev.
